6yo upper level prospect

Proudly offered for sale Stretch, a 6yo OTTB gelding (16 starts, last race feb 2018, DOB March 2013) located in Upper Marlboro, MD 20772
This fancy and extremely well built 17H gelding has been retrained and shown professionally for one year and is ready to find his new rider.
He is currently showing at the Training level and had scope for much more. He won the novice division of the Loch Moy Derby in December 2018, placed 6th in his first training division at the Loch Moy Derby in January 2019 and took the 2nd place for the Training division derby in February 2019 and march 2019.
For his first Starter Trial at Loch Moy in March 2019 he finished on his dressage score.
Stretch is a cross country machine. He is born to be an eventer, absolutely nothing phases him.
He has no vice, and perfect ground manners ( great with dentist, farrier, clipping, loading…) : extremely friendly, always the first one to come from the field to say hello, he is a barn favorite with a great brain, easy going and easy keeper, with great feet ( only front shoes cause we are showing him at the T level). He is living in a herd with 10 other mares and gelding .
You will find at the PPE some cold osselets on his font right leg but these osselets are not interfering at all with his second career as Stretch has been perfectly sound since off the track ( retired 12 months ago). Price reflects this.
As Stretch is a very strong and willing horse ( we are still working on channeling his great, enthusiastic and positive energy), he wont be a good fit for an amateur rider showing under PRELIM level. He is a very serious horse for a professional rider looking for his next upper level horse. An amazing home with references is a must. We will not sell this horse to an average rider, serious inquiry only.
Stretch will stay in full training and competition program until sold ( next Horse Trial FULL MOON FARM in April)
