Exciting young Event Prospect, over 17 hands

DEPUTY BEN – Bay 2013 unraced Thoroughbred gelding, 17+ hands. This rangy youngster was classically bred for distance; his pedigree traces back to such luminaries as Bold Ruler and Native Dancer, however he was never sent to the racetrack. He is an exceptional mover with a loose swinging trot, and adjustable balanced canter, and a good uphill carriage. has a super temperament and is a real tryer. He has good basic training; going nicely on the flat, hacking out quietly, and jumping small courses and XC fences – he will be ready to start competing soon. This striking young horse has the talent and potential for the high levels of Eventing. Ben is suitable for a rider who wants a serious upper level prospect, but he is also easy enough for an amateur. $20,000.
