Broad Axe Bernie (JC name) is a 10 yo dark bay, 16.2h TB G He was retired sound and has clean tight legs.
Axel is lovely and uncomplicated on the flat. He goes softly in the bridle and is accepting of contact. He has an expressive trot and a rhythmical canter with ground cover. He has started all first level lateral work and basic counter canter.
Axel loves to jump. He has good form over the fences and doesn’t know the meaning of the word stop! He is bold and willing on the cross country. He is not spooky. Axel is forward thinking to the fences, and while he is jumped in a snaffle, he is best suited to a confident rider who is able to provide decisive direction. He listens well to the half halt.
