Newly available- top level prospect with a respectable modified record, ready for prelim. She turns heads wherever she goes and already has quite the fan club!
Passing Gem is a coming 7 year old, 17h Thoroughbred mare by Gemologist. She is a true upper level horse, thoughtfully produced and ready for a new partner. She qualified for the YEH Championship at 5 years old, scoring a 22 on the flat, and has been consistent at Modified and 1* in 2022. She is now ready to move up, and is entered in her first Prelim. She is the ultimate cross country horse who truly loves, understands, and wants to do the job. She is fancy and careful, but the standout feature of this horse is just how easy and brilliant she is cross country. That said, she is also a big, forward thinking horse who will need a tactful (not necessarily professional, but good) rider to continue in her career. She is not a packer, and not suitable for a child or amateur learning the lower levels.
She has excellent ground manners- grooms, clips, and travels very well. She is very sweet, and actually loves hot Cheetos! She does require some maintenance, and I am happy to discuss that openly with serious parties. She is currently doing the job and very happy, and I will want to give her new person all the tools they need to know her and succeed.
