Placed in Numerous Unaffiliated Events, jumping double clears.

His sire Glencarrig Knight, was Clifden Supreme Champion. Knight’s progeny, highly sought after both here and abroad, have been hugely successful on the eventing and showing circuit at HOYS, the RDS, Clifden, national and at European level, indicating the scope and diversity of show and performance the Glencarrig Knights are capable of.

Glencarrig Pat is no exception, winning his first Eventing Ireland outing, in a strong class, with his exceptional flat work, jump and with plenty of gallop.

He has been professionally trained. In dressage he is achieving low 30s. Constantly in the top 3 against horses.

He is always clear cross country. Time is not an issue with this Connemara; he covers the ground easily and has a natural ability to jump within his stride. He has learnt to approach cross country confidently.

He shows a lot of scope in show jumping. He jumps effortlessly, owing to his strong and balanced canter. As his rider I have really enjoyed this about him. Throughout his first competitive season he has jumped many double clears.

He has an exceptional temperament and has been one of the most enjoyable animals to produce. He has a brilliant attitude to his work.

He is suitable for a ambitious junior rider who wants to be competitive in all three disciplines in eventing and/or a rider who is looking to win rosettes in the working hunter ring.

I believe he has the gallop, scope, movement and trainability to make a top junior or amateur event horse to go to CCI2* level.

I look forward to seeing him move up the grades and win many rosettes, as I believe he has already shown the potential to do so.
